Joe Benkowski and Barb Matson drafter a letter that was emailed to several national woodworking publications this month to inquire as to whether they would like to feature our woodshop in their magazine. Hopefully we will hear back soon if there is interest in our shop.
We have had a number of woodworking projects donated by our generous members to have on hand for charitable organizations who request items for their fundraising auctions. Please consider making something (or donating something you made years ago) to share with our local charities so they can continue to support the needs in our community.
Board members exhibited at The Villages Resident Expo twice and talked to many villagers who showed an interest in the woodshop. If you would be interested in representing the club at one of these events, please get in touch with one of us on the committee or Valerie Pfundstein.
