In the form of fun and recognition to those who served in the arm forces, he had all of the veterans from the different armed forces stand. As each division was asked to sit down, the last man standing was Bill Ahlgren, a Marine. Steve resented Bill with the Wounded Warriors Cane.  The Cane was turned by the turners, the Eagle head carved by the carvers and Bill’s war time information was placed on the cane by John Herega. A special stand was made by special projects for him to display the Cain.
