Mikes’s Announcements:

·         Maintenance pointed out that a member ran a freshly glued project through the joiner, plainer and the chop saw. This damages the machines.

·         Show and tell will be first item on the agenda so that we can move on to the town hall meeting on the new shop.

General Announcements:

·         We don’t have all the answers about the new shop, but we will give you the information we have as best we can. This meeting will be videotaped and will be put on the web site.

·         Two years ago, we formed a group called the Second Workshop Committee. Members on the committee are as follows: Bernie Harkins, Bill McGinnis, Conway Williams, Dave Adamovich, Jim Spallone, John Herega, Mike Borfitz, Ray Roberts and Ron Gammon

·         The new shop will be built across from the Eisenhower Recreational Center, next to the fire station and by the water tower.

·          Late 2015 early 2016 the work shop committee approached Mr. Morse with the facts that the membership reached 900 members and the shop was getting crowded.

·          Mike then told the history of how we got to where we are today.

·         It will be one club with two locations. Each member will be required to declare his home shop. Members will be able to go to either shop.

·         We need to finalize the agreement with the Villages and then we will need many volunteers to work on subcommittees for the different projects.
