The Villages Wood Club’s Board of Directors Organizational Meeting

Tuesday January 10, 2017

at Laurel Manor Recreation Center

This Board meeting was held immediately preceded the General Membership Meeting in which three new Board Members were elected to a three-year term of 2017, 2018 and 2019.   The purpose of the meeting was to vote in the new Chairman of he Board for 2017.

The newly elected Board members are Bob Bell, Harm Borfitz and Sandy Fuller.

Board members in attendance: 2016 Chairman Bill McGinnis, Directors Bob Bell, Harm Borfitz, Sandy Fuller, Conway Williams, Frank Giaccone, John Herega, and Sandy Moraco.  Not in attendance Larnie Cross. 

Others in attendance: Patty Porter, Secretary

Meeting called to order by Patty Porter at 8:30pm

Quorum established based on the seven (7) Board of Directors in attendance.

Patty Porter called for a nomination from the Board of Directors for their 2017 Chairman of the Board.  Bob Bell nominated Bill McGinnis, second by Conway Williams and Motion to approve by Conway Williams and Harm Borfitz and unanimously approved by all.

Bill McGinnis is the 2017 Chairman of the Board.

Bill welcomed Bob, Harm and Sandy to the Board.

At 8:45pm Bill McGinnis called for a Motion to close the meeting, motion made by Sandy Fuller, second by John Herega and unanimously approved by all.
